Ghostbusters the Video Game

This on-off again game is one of two reasons I got a Wii (the other being Star Wars: The Force Unleashed). In the game you play as a new-recruit Ghostbuster, which is a bit of a cheesy way in, but what else are you going to do without playing through the movies? Cliche or not, the promise of wielding my own proton pack with the Wii remote has me near-salivating.

It was first rumoured to have been put on hold as there was discussion of a third Ghostbusters movie that might have wanted to hold on to the video game rights. Following this the publisher, Activision, dropped it as a title (something that is happening quite frequently in the current economic dung-heap), and without anyone to pay for printing, shipping, marketing and the developers salarys for the last few months of production it seemed dead in the water. Enter Atari. With Atari publishing the game is set for a cross-console release this Spring.

Who you gonna call? Yourself!

Battle for the Cowl

Just a quick one as I liked the cover for Battle of the Cowl #2 (out in April) which will join with #1 & #3 to make a poster image. The pencils for #1 & #2 have been joined here by the artist, Tony Daniel.

The colour version of #1 is on the post below.
