Scrapped Avengers movie tie-in game

This is footage from the canned Avengers video game that would tie-into next year's movie.

Judging by the first person perspective and the way that the hands move to perform tasks, I am presuming that this was being developed for the Xbox360's Kinect.

Perhaps this is why it was dropped as the studio wanted to launch multi-platform. Perhaps not. What I do know is it is a little odd that it be dropped when the game was so far into development.
