Stephanie Brown lives on as Spoiler

The December solicitations were released officially last night and I have to say that I'm a little surprised that no-one is flagging up the return to the DC Universe of Stephanie Brown's Spoiler.
Announced in the Batman Leviathan one-shot, Steph fills the same role that she did as Batgirl for the English boarding school mission. So presumably, the art had to be sent back and changed - whoops! It would've been easier (and cheaper) to get it out in August when it was solicited.

For those who don't know, Stephanie Brown is the daughter of D-list villian and Riddler copy-cat, The Cluemaster. She originally started out as the Spoiler purely to 'spoil' his attempts at a life of crime. She quickly became a part of Tim Drake's upporting cast in Robin as a love-interest and the two were an item for several years.

She had a brief (around six issues over 3 months) stint as Robin after Tim's dad found out his secret identity and forced him to quit, before being fired by Batman. She then inadvertantly set off a gang war which lead to her being tortured to 'death'.

It was later revealed that she had nicked off to Africa for a year or so to do missionary-style work with Dr. Leslie Thompkins. She returned, as Spoiler and became Batgirl in the wake of Batman RIP & battle for the Cowl

Here is the solicitation for you again:
